Mrs. West-Ford was born Feb. 25, 1912, in Altamont, the daughter of Hugh and Elvia Ross West. She graduated from Altamont High School and attended college in Kirskville.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Altamont.
Mrs. West-Ford taught at Altamont and Macon.
Survivors include one son; two daughters; two sisters, Bugie Jarrett and Jewell Bernack; one brother, Ross West of Pattonsburg; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
