Gallatin’s Junior High boys to a 2nd place team finish
A 5th place finish in the final event of the day, the 4×400-meter relay, would have relegated Gallatin’s Junior High boys to a 2nd place team finish in last Tuesday’s Worth County Junior High Tiger Relays. Instead, the Bulldogs beat Mercer’s relay team by .23 seconds to finish 4th and defeat host Worth County, 93.5 to 93, for the team title.
The GJH girls amassed 54 points to finish 5th in team competition. Overall, it was a record- setting day for Gallatin Junior High squads.
