The library has received a $1,240 Federal IMLA/LSTA grant
The Daviess County Library has won a grant from the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act administered by the Missouri State Library.
The library has received a $1,240 Federal IMLA/LSTA grant to be used to help host a half-day information fair for senior-citizens of our area. Any sector of the community which works with or caters to the older population will be provided booth space in the library to promote information about their services. This “Senior Sharing Day” will be held Thursday, June 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the library.
The federal funds will be used to purchase programming supplies and materials, promotional and printing costs, and advertising. Watch for further information as the program develops.
