High Speed Internet Services and Digital cable are widely sweeping the nation — delivering vastly improved Internet surfing options and a larger selection of channels with the same advantages as basic cable service. The new digital service will bring a wide variety to the residents of Gallatin. The service will include over 125 channels in which the customer can choose from, pay per view access, parental controls, and digital quality picture and sound. Customers will also not lose their access to local network programming and their basic line-up that is currently offered.
Digital Cable TV does not require customers to buy a new television set or purchase any equipment for their home. A digital set-top for each digital customer will be installed into their home, and the customer can begin viewing the new digital service immediately. All of the entertainment choices will be combined with local customer service and technical support.
These advanced services are also important to attract commerce to the area. Businesses want and need advanced data services and research their availability when making a decision in where they will locate. Galaxy Cablevision provides these services so now when community leaders are talking with prospective companies, they can be assured these services are available.
Galaxy Cablevision is planning a community launch party on May 6th at the Dockery Park Recreational Building in Gallatin. All members of the community are invited to attend between the hours of 5 and 7pm to experience the High Speed Internet and new digital service.
