The following are the March 2004 reports taken by the Gallatin Police Department. The report includes the date the report was taken, the time the incident occurred, the nature of the report, the location and additional miscellaneous information. It does not include dog impounds or restricted juvenile information.

March 1- from July 2003 to 4:45 p.m. on March 1 — stealing-theft from auto at 908 West Van Buren.

March 3 at 6 p.m. — non-aggravated assault – domestic violence at 207 S. Water. Handled by Department of Family Services (DFS).

March 5 at 8:55 p.m. — uninvited solicitor (door to door sales) at 1101 South Willow. Summons issued.

March 13 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on March 13 — cruelty to animal at 300 East Van Buren. Dog shot while tied up on a porch.

March 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on March 14 — burglary-residence at 311 West Van Buren. No forced entry or evidence.

March 16 at 7:30 am. — non-injury auto accident at Grand and Maple. Summons issued.

March 16 at 11 p.m. — check on the welfare of a child for DFS at 101 East Elm, Apt. #27. Conditions reported to DFS.

March 17 at 6:28 p.m. — non-injury auto accident at Rocky Road and Barry. Power pole and power lines damaged.

March 18 at 12 noon — animal bite at 501 Searcy. Animal found and impounded. Released after 10 days.

March 20 at 10:20 p.m. — non-aggravated assault, domestic violence at 201 South Main. Suspect arrested and confined at Midwest Security Housing.

March 26 at 6 p.m. — stealing-theft from auto at Gallatin High School parking lot.

March 26 at 10:45 p.m. — non-injury auto accident, driving while intoxicated at 403 South Main, Casey’s lot. Private property. Arrest. Taken to Midwest Security Housing.

March 29 at 10 p.m. — juvenile run-away. Address not released. Juvenile found and returned to parents.

March 31 – from 10 p.m. on March 30 to 12:01 a.m. on March 31 — property damage at 111 East Grand. Tire cut – under investigation.
