The commissioners reported having attended the Northwest County Commissioners Association meeting in Mercer County on March 25.

James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting routine matters. A concrete deck will be poured next week, weather permitting, on the project in Grand River Township.
Bills were audited and paid.
No bids were received from brush removal contractors.
The commission executed a contract with APAC-Missouri for the delivery of the 2004 CART rock. The contract was forwarded to the contractor for the appropriate signature.
Mike Waterbury, Grand River Township, met with the commission regarding brush problems in that township. The commission will inspect the road involved.
The commission discussed the new law allowing a sales tax holiday for certain school supplies for Aug 13-15, 2004. No ordinance was executed. This tax holiday will take place in Daviess County.
