Funeral services for John Hallock, father of Jim Robert Hallock of Gallatin, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 19, at the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial will be in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany. The family will receive friends after 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart Fund and/or American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.

John Stanton Hallock, 64, Ridgeway, died Monday, March 15, 2004, at a St. Joseph hospital.

Mr. Hallock was born June 30, 1939, in Worth County, the son of Stanton Burr and Ruth Lea (Linthacum) Hallock.

He was a truck driver for Dale Farm, Inc.

Mr. Hallock was a member of the Bethany Lodge #97 A.F. & A.M., Moila Shrine Temple in St. Joseph where he was also a member of the Sanddancers Unit.

Survivors include two other sons, John of Independence, and Richard of Hatfield; two daughters, Rita Schowengerdt of Independence and Tricia Salmon of Bethany; one sister, Mary Margaret Aijala of Silver Bay, Minn.; and 10 grandchildren.
