Joe Koenen, University of Missouri extension agribusiness specialist, based in Putnam Count reports, “Though new fence laws have been enacted in the state in recent years, and there have been a lot of discussions about the new laws, there is still a tremendous amount of misunderstanding about who is responsible for what, when it comes to building or repairing shared fences.”
