TO ALL POTENTIAL CANDIDATES FOR THE AUGUST 2004 PRIMARY ELECTION
Filing for county office is handled in the County Clerk’s office, beginning the last Tuesday in February until the last Tuesday in March (February 24 to March 30) during regular office hours, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m.
A receipt from the treasurer of the political party’s county central committee must be presented at the time of filing. Contact Mark Corwin for the Democratic Party or Conrad Walton for the Republican Party.
Names will be placed on the ballot in order of filing, with the line forming at the County Clerk’s office. If, when you arrive, the courthouse is locked, the line will form at the east door.
