Funeral services for Geogia Vance will be held at 12 noon Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Liberty Baptist Church, McFall, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial will be in McFall Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to noon on Saturday at the church. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to McFall Cemetery in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, 64424.
Georgia P. Vance, 85, McFall, formerly of Kansas City, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, at her home.
Mrs. Vance was born April 14, 1918, in Hickory Grove, Okla., the daughter of Eli and Hannah Josephine (Bennett) Herod.
She was married to Garth Vance. He died on July 13, 1978.
Mrs. Vance was also preceded in death by a grandson, Ronnie Provance.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Provance, McFall; one brother, Joseph Herod, Grove, Okla.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
