The Missouri State Highway Patrol are continuing their investigation of an injury one-vehicle crash on Hwy. 69, two miles west of Altamont in Daviess County.
Upon arriving at about 9:27 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, troopers observed an undamaged Toyota with the driver in the driver’s seat. The vehicle was off the roadway.
Keith Ayres, 16, Winston, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Daviess County Coroner.
The initial investigation found no visible signs of death.
