Funeral services for Moss Alexander will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial will be in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the funeral home, where friends may call after 9 a.m. today. Memorials may be given to the Harrison County Hospice in care of the Roberson Funeral Home.
Mr. Alexander was born Feb. 19, 1938, in Mt. Moriah, the son of Darrel and Eunice (Moss) Alexander.
He operated Alexander’s MFA for 19 years, before retiring in 2003. He had worked at other area service stations prior to that for 25 years.
On Dec. 5, 1959, he married Norma Price in Gilman City.
Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Boyd and Billy.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Norma, of the home; two sons, Wayne of Altamont, and Bill of St. Joseph; one sister, Isabel Stoner of Carrollton; and two grandsons.
