The honor lists for the Graceland University College of Professional Studies’ (CPS) second term have been announced by university officials. Students named to the president’s list earned a perfect, 4.0 grade point average (GPA). Those on the honors list achieved a GPA between 3.65 and 3.99. Those on the dean’s list earned a GPA between 3.25 and 3.64.

The CPS operates on a five-term year at satellite sites in Trenton, Centerville and Des Moines, Iowa.

Students from this area on the honor lists include: Candy Hughes of Gallatin and Brenda Pliley of Jamesport on the Fall President’s List; Kelly Burke, Patricia Johnson and Stacy Mackowiak, all of Gilman City, and Tricia Ewald of Jamesport on the Fall Honor’s List.

The Office of the Registrar at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, released the names of 345 undergraduate students who completed requirements for baccalaureate degrees at the conclusion of the 2003 fall trimester.

Northwest’s fall trimester graduates from our area included Amanda Kathleen Moyer of Gallatin, BSEd-Elementary Education/early childhood education; and Kimberly Kay Payne of Gilman City, BS-Computer Science/mathematical science. Kimberly graduated Magna Cum Laude with a cumulative GPA of 3.76 to 3.99.
