The National Rural Eclectic Cooperative Association (NRECA) will be conducting a survey of the membership of Farmers’ Electric Cooperative, beginning the first week of February.
NRECA’s Market Research department, which is located in Des Moines, Iowa, will be conducting the triennial telephone survey. The survey is being conducted at no charge to FEC, as a result of a marketing arrangement with FEC’s power supplier, Associated Electric Cooperative, Springfield.
“This survey is conducted every three years and involves only our residential customers,” explained Dan Bryan, FEC Executive Vice-President and CEO. “The survey includes some basic questions, but gets into other areas that will let us know how we are doing in providing you with reliable electric service.”
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete, according to NRECA Market Research personnel. Topics covered on the survey include member demographics, cooperative service and price perceptions, as well as heating and cooling scenarios and water heater market share. Each cooperative taking part in the survey may also have up to five questions added to personalize the survey for the cooperative.
“If you happen to be one of our members who is contacted, please take the time to take part in this survey,” Bryan said. “The information we receive will help us to better serve you in the future. It will allow us to make more informed decisions as we make our long-range plans for the cooperative and its member/owners.”
