Rep. Whorton to visit area

State Representative Jim Whorton will visit this area on Friday, Jan. 16, to the following locations: Landes Oil in Jamesport, 7:30-8:30 a.m.; Daviess County Courthouse in Gallatin, 9-10 a.m.; Bing’s Convenience Store in Altamont, 10:30-11 a.m.; and Grundy County Senior Center in Trenton, noon to 1 p.m.

Rep. Whorton will continue to hold visits throughout the district as the legislative session continues to seek input on issues. His district office is now located at 408 E. 9th in Trenton. The phone number has changed to 660-359-3988.
