Funeral services for Donald Roberts were held Tuesday at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Burial was at South Point Cemetery in Orrick. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Donald Allen Roberts Memorial Fund.
Donald Allen “Donnie” Roberts, 44, Gallatin, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003.
Mr. Roberts was born on April 28, 1959, in Kansas City, the son of William Cecil Roberts, Sr., and Mary Anna (Freiben) Roberts.
He worked as a truck driver.
Mr. Roberts was a member of the National Pool League.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
Mr. Roberts married Donna Roberts; she survives of Gravois Mills.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, James William and Roger Dale; and two sisters, Mary Katheryn Roberts and Elizabeth Louise Roberts.
Other survivors include three sons, Dustin of Oklahoma, Corey of Kansas City and Brian of Kansas City; one daughter, Jennifer Roberts of Kansas City; two step-daughters, Lucy and Venessa, both of Gravois Mills; five brothers, Ed of Orrick, Dennis of Excelsior Springs, Mike of Altamont, Louis of Excelsior Springs and William Cecil Jr. of Orrick; two sisters, Ann Roberts of Excelsior Springs and Carol Roberts of Gravois Mills.
