Mrs. Thomson was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Gallatin.

Funeral services for Charlotte Thomson, a native of Gallatin, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at Meierhoffer Family Funeral Service, St. Joseph, Mo. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gallatin. The family will receive friends from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday at Meierhoffer Family Funeral Service, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Second Harvest Food Bank, 915 Douglas Street, St. Joseph, 64505.

Mrs. Thomson was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Gallatin.

She married Harry Thomson. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Denver O. and Opal (Wellman) Richardson; a brother, Randolph Richardson; and a sister, Helen Melton.

Mrs. Thomson was a member of the Christian faith and a volunteer at Heartland East Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula C. Athens, St. Joseph, and Lisa M. Elliott, Jefferson City; two brothers, Robert Richardson, Chicago, Ill, and Rollin Richardson, Little Rock, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
