James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting on the condition of equipment and routine repairs being made.
At 9 a.m. as advertised, the preliminary budget hearing was held. Linda Adkins, Circuit Clerk, met with the commission reporting that her budget would have no significant changes from last year. The Associate Court’s budget was submitted. The commission discussed priorities for the coming year.
Billy Hunter, Altamont, met with the commission making an offer to purchase the 1972 IHC dump truck previously offered for sale by the commission. David Holcomb moved to accept his offer of $250 “as is” since no offers were made following advertising for sale by bid. Danny Heldenbrand seconded. Carried.
Bob Burnett and Clint Mason, Snyder and Associates, met with the commission regarding the progress being made on BRO project (25).
Bill Eckert, Jamesport Special Road District, met with the commission concerning road matters.
Bills were audited and paid.
Bob Carr met with the commission discussing economic development in the county.
