Traffic Fines Paid by Mail

The following are traffic cases which were heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment of the standard fine plus court costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri was $1,757 for 25 tickets. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside in Missouri was $1,476 for 22 cases. Court costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $56.50 for moving traffic violations. Missouri defendants, offenses and fines are listed below:

Passed car with another truck in a lane having to avoid head-on accident: Timothy Poindexter, Trenton, $128.50.

Speeding amended by prosecuting attorney to failure to equip vehicle with adequate muffler: Celine Reed, Kansas City, $193.50; Nicole M. Costello, St. Charles, $193.50.

Hunting without hunter orange vest: Alvin Detweiler, Jamesport, $10.

C&I amended by prosecuting attorney to failure to equip vehicle with adequate muffler: Deborah A. Hufft, Breckenridge, $143.50.

Speeding 85 in a 70 amended by prosecuting attorney to 71 in a 70 and no seat belt: Alicia Cornett, Pattonsburg, $203.50.
