Funeral services for Helen K. Stigers were held Monday at Meierhoffer Family Funeral Service. Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorial gifts to Hands of Hope Hospice.
Helen K. Stigers, 84, St. Joseph, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, at a local health care facility.
Born Nov. 25, 1919, in Gallatin, she moved to St. Joseph in 1948.
She married Claud W. Stigers, who preceded her in death in 1983.
Mrs. Stigers was a homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Don Pendleton; two sisters, Veta Pendleton and Betty Siegel.
Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis and William Bowser, St. Joseph; and one granddaughter
