Goldie Louis Claycomb, 84, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at her home in Stewartsville.
Funeral services for Goldie L. Claycomb, a native of Pattonsburg, were held Dec. 19, at the Bram-Summerfield Funeral Home in Stewartsville. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery, Albany. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
Goldie Louis Claycomb, 84, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at her home in Stewartsville.
Mrs. Claycomb was born Jan. 18, 1919, at Pattonsburg, and had been a longtime resident of Stewartsville.
She had been employed as a nurse’s aide at hospitals in St. Joseph and Cameron.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herald Claycomb; son, Donald Claycomb; and sister, Dorothy Daniels.
Survivors include two sons, Danny and Larry Claycomb, both of Stewartsville; four daughters, Connie Hunter, McFall, Sue Claycomb, Hamilton, Joyce Goff and Beverly Baker, both of Kansas City; a brother, J.W. Huff, Santa Rosa; two sisters, Lola May Coons, Williamsburg, and Lois Pratt, Pocatello, Idaho; 30 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
