Gallatin and Winston varsity basketball teams got their games in ahead of Tuesday night’s winter storm. The GHS girls downed the Lady Redbirds, 62-30 and the Bulldog boys won, 63-26.
Gallatin’s boys move to 5-0 on the season and appear this week in the Missouri prep poll at #6 in Class 2. East Carter of Ellsinore is the #1 ranked team in Class 2 at 3-0. The West Platte Blue Jays, 2-0, hold down the #2 spot. The remainder of the Class 2 poll has Harrisburg at #3, Lone Jack #4, Sparta #5, Sedalia Sacred Heart #7, Canton #8, Marionville #9 and Windsor #10.
Braymer checks in with the #1 ranked team in Class 1. King City is #8. Mercer’s girls are #6 and Worth County’s girls are the #9 team in Class 1. Hamilton’s girls are ranked #9 in Class 3.
Gallatin’s girls are 3-2 after Tuesday night’s victory. Gallatin teams are idle Friday and return to action Tuesday at home against Gilman City.
