Earnie passed on to be with his heavenly Father, November 19, 2003, at the age of 66 years, 2 months and 14 days.
He was born September 5, 1937, to Charles Mort King and Edith Geneva Tucker King at Carlow, Mo.
Earnie was united in holy matrimony to Clara Edith McKinney on March 9, 1958 and to this union one beloved daughter, Dale Ann, was born.
Earnie had a loving and giving heart. He and Clara opened their home on many occasions to people and youth who needed a home and some love.
Earnie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed keeping a large garden and yard and frequently shared its bounty with friends and neighbors.
Earnie loved and served his Lord and Savior faithfully as he was an active member and deacon of Coffey Baptist Church.
Earnie worked for Snyder Quarries for 12 years; Gallatin Grain for 6 years; Landmark Mfg. for 23 years where he retired.
Earnie is survived by Clara, his wife of 45 years, Dale Ann, daughter, and her husband, Bill Graham of Camdenton, Mo.; five grandchildren, Stephanie and her husband, Lawrence VonSande of Roach, Mo., Elissa Graham of Camdenton, Mo., Will Graham and his wife, Stacey of Pleasant Grove, Utah and three great-grandchildren, Alexandria Graham, Collette VonSande, and Kodi Steele.
Earnie was also survived by three brothers, Carl King and his wife Wilma of Buckner, Mo., Bob King of Jamesport, Mo., Dorland King and his wife Mary of Gallatin, Mo, and one sister, Velma Maddox of Gallatin, Mo. Earnie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins along with a host of friends and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, three brothers, Garvin, Edgar, and Floyd “Gabby” King, and one sister, Grace Reynolds.
He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
