Frank “June” King, 82, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at the Veterans Hospital in Leavenworth, Kan.
Funeral services for Frank “June” King will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Friends may call after 12 noon on Wed., Dec. 3. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery in Lock Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Home Cameron.
Frank “June” King, 82, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at the Veterans Hospital in Leavenworth, Kan.
Mr. King was born Dec. 30, 1920, to Frank and Emma May “Miller” King in rural Daviess County. He graduated from Jamesport High School in 1939 and then attended Maryville Teachers College for two years.
Mr. King was a World War II Army veteran.
For most of his life after leaving the service, he farmed with his brothers on a farm near Jamesport.
Mr. King was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Robert King; and one sister, Mary Margaret.
Survivors include two brothers, Dean and Harold King of Gallatin; and one sister, Joyce Blank of Lee’s Summit.
