FBLA Valentine and Christmas committees will meet in Mrs. Holcomb’s
room on Thursday the 4th during 2nd seminar. Freshmen involved need to eat 1st lunch shift.
There will be 2 quarters of JV Boys Basketball prior to the Varsity
games at Winston on Dec 9th. They will start at 5:30.
Any student in grades 9-12 who is interested in going into the medical
field or a health related profession needs to meet with Mr. Batson or
Miss Chipman by Dec. 11th.
Financial Aid night has been scheduled for Wed., Dec. 10th from
6:30-8:30pm. Juniors and seniors and their parents should plan to
attend. See Mr. Batson or Miss Chipman if you have questions.
Alicia Saunders from MWSC will be here on Wed., Dec. 10th to meet with
interested seniors during 2nd seminar.
A representative from Graceland University will be here on Tues., Dec.
9th. Interested seniors need to meet in the library during 2nd
seminar.
Tim Asher from NCMC will be here on Monday, Dec. 8th to meet with
interested seniors during 2nd seminar.
Brian Malchose from the Air National Guard will be here today to speak
with interested juniors and seniors. Come by the office to let Miss
Chipman know if you’d like to schedule a visit.
Any junior interested in attending Missouri Girl’s State or Missouri
Boy’s State needs to see Mr. Batson or Miss Chipman for more details.
A Josten’s rep will be here Friday, Dec. 5th to take orders from
seniors. If you did not receive a packet from Monday’s meeting, you can pick one up in the office.
The following students need to eat first lunch shift in order to
practice Christmas Carols during 2nd seminar from now until Dec. 12th:

HS Stream Team members: Sign up for activities in Dec. You need at
least 4 activities this 1st semester to be in good standing. Totals are outside Mr. Steigerwalt’s room.
HS Science Olympiad members need to be preparing for competition Jan.
31st. We have about 7 weeks to get ready. See Mr. Steigerwalt for
help.
