Earnie R. King, 66, Coffey, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas
City.
Funeral services for Earnie R. King were held Sunday at the Coffey Baptist Church, Coffey.
Burial was at Coffey Cemetery. Arrangements were by McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Coffey Baptist Church.

Mr. King was born Sept. 5, 1937, to Charles and Edith (Tucker) King in Carlow.
He married Clara McKinney on March 9, 1958, in Bethany.
In his early years, Mr. King worked as a farm laborer; and later he worked as a mechanic for Snyder Quarries and Gallatin Grain for several years. He retired as a mechanic for Landmark Manufacturing in Gallatin in 2001 after 23 years of employment.
He was a member of the Coffey Baptist Church, where he served as deacon. Mr. King served four years as mayor of Coffey.
Mr. King was preceded in death by brothers, Garvin Lee, Ed and Floyd King; and sister, Grace Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Clara of the home; one daughter, Dale Ann Graham, Camdenton; three brothers, Carl King, Buckner, Bob King, Jamesport, and Dorland King, Gallatin; one sister, Velma Maddox, Gallatin; his stepfather, Melvin Morris, Chillicothe; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
