Anne Rogers, 1998 graduate of Gallatin High School, will receive her B.S. degree in architectural engineering from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan. on Dec. 13.
The architectural engineering program offered at K-State is considered to be number one in the nation. This arduous five-year program has prepared Anne to design mechanical, electrical,
plumbing and structural systems. For the past four years, Anne has been the recipient of the Charles Berten Scholarship for Excellence in Engineering.
During the summer of 2003, Anne completed an internship with Schmidt & Stacy Consulting Engineers, Inc. in Dallas, Texas, where she designed mechanical systems. She has since accepted a position with that firm, and will begin employment on Jan. 5. Anne is the daughter of Steve and Madelynn Adkison and Bob Rogers.
