Funeral services for Wanda Brown were held at 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Poland- Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Burial was at Centenary Cemetery, southeast of Gallatin. Memorial may be made to the Cameron Library.

Wanda Mae Brown, 87, Cameron, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, at a local health-care facility.

Mrs. Brown was born on Oct. 30, 1916, in McFall to McAllen and Katherine (VanBibber) Bridwell.

She worked as a librarian at the Cameron Library.

Mrs. Brown was a member of the Cameron First Christian Church. She was also a Past Noble Grand of the Rebekah Lodge of Gallatin, and a secretary in Cameron.

On Nov. 27, 1933, she married Obie W. Brown in Trenton. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Brown was also preceded by two sons, James Larry and Daniel; and two grandsons, Danny and Kenneth.

Survivors include one son, Wayne Brown of Gun-Barrel City, Texas; one daughter, Mary Shields of Gilman City; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
