Eight North Central Missouri College Agricultural Students qualified for National competition by earning top ranking at the Missouri State Post Agriculture Secondary Contest held on the campus of Crowder College.

Among those who participated was Brook Carder of Gallatin who earned national qualification by winning in Sales & Service Career Planning, the Agribusiness Sales Employment Interview and the Prepared Public Speaking competition. Brad Thompson of Trenton qualified in both the Dairy Production Employment Interview and in the Impromptu Public Speaking competition.

A total of 17 students were in attendance and in competition from NCMC and were joined by College Officials David Nowland, Brett Peterson and Bill Hinkebein. Another area student, Andi King of Hamilton, was chosen the state reporter.

The National meeting will take place next March in Green Bay, Wis.
