Jennifer Layne Teel, two-year old daughter of Julie Vyrostek and Darrell Lee Teel of Pattonsburg, recently qualified for the Missouri state finals of the New Star Discovery Most Beautiful Baby Contest after winning first in her 24-35 months age division at the preliminary pageant held in Kansas City on Oct. 11.
Jennifer was also awarded most photogenic, best product advertisement for “Got Milk?” and the overall highpoint award in the 0-3 year-old category.
She was awarded a $225 photo shoot with a high profile Chicago photographer as well as her beauty entry fee paid to the state finals which are to be held May 29 and 30, 2004, in Springfield.
At the state finals, Jennifer will have a chance to win over $5,000 in savings bonds and other awards as well as proceed on to the National finals where she could win over $25,000.
New Star Discovery Beauty pageants look for the naturally beautiful child and there is no make- up allowed. The children ranging in ages 0 months to six years are judged on their appearance was well as their personality.
