Granddaughter crowned Homecoming Queen at NWMSU

Emily Dix, Olathe North 2000 graduate, was announced Homecoming Queen on Oct. 15 at Northwest Missouri State University. Phi Delta Theta fraternity nominated her. Emily then went through a screening interview and was voted as winner by the NWMSU student body. She is a senior double majoring in marketing and management with a Spanish minor at NWMSU. Emily’s activities include president of Student Senate, American Marketing Association, Phi Mu Sorority, Student Ambassadors, Mortar Board. Her parents are Randy and Paula Dix of Olathe, Kan. Emily is the granddaughter of Bill and Beverly Ward of Jameson and the niece of Mike and Sandy Ward of Gallatin. Also pictured is Nathan Schroeder, a senior, named Homecoming King.
