The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that pavement and shoulder repairs began Oct. 20 on Interstate 35 in Daviess County on the southbound lanes just south of the Grand River Bridge.
Approximately nine miles of Interstate 35, both north and south bound lanes, will undergo pavement repair. Both the driving lanes as well as the shoulders will be repaired from Route 69 to Route C. Boone Construction is the prime contractor on the project, and they have 23 working days to complete the work.
Intermittent lane closures are scheduled throughout this project. Drivers are reminded to use extreme caution throughout the work zone area, and reduce their speed.
