Funeral services for Lawrence Heyer will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Ramsey Reformed Church, Titonka, Iowa. Arrangements are by Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial will be at Ramsey Reformed Cemetery, Titonka. Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Lawrence G. Heyer, 70, Altamont, died Oct. 5, 2003, at the Cameron hospital.
Mr. Heyer, a farmer, was born on July 12, 1933, in Buffalo Center, Iowa.
He married Marilyn Harms on April 7, 1952. They moved to Cameron in the early 1980’s. She died in 1988.
He married Jennie L. Jolley on Oct. 27, 1990, in Des Moines, Iowa. She survives of the home.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred, Harvey and James.
Other survivors include four sons, Marcus, Bradley, Paul and Jeffrey; two daughters, Brenda Fauber and Janet Vanderwerf; one stepdaughter, Krystyna Jackson; two brothers, Cecil Heyer and Gorden Heyer; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
