John and Pam VanHoutan, Carl Junction, are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Todd to Lilith Langner, daughter of Gabriele Langner and Michael Grunert-Langner, Berlin, Germany.
The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Paul Natorp High School in Berlin. She received a BS degree in business in October 2002 from Berufsakademie, Berlin.
The prospective groom is a 1996 graduate of Carl Junction High School. He is a marketing major at MSSU in Joplin and is employed at Federal Express.
The wedding will be December 27 at the First Christian Church, Joplin. A summer ceremony will be held in Berlin, Germany.
Todd is the grandson of LaVaughn Thomas of Gallatin.
