The Gallatin Board of Aldermen held a special meeting on Monday to pass an ordinance authorizing the city to employ an attorney to represent the city with regards to its natural gas pipeline lease and such other legal works as may be needed. The bill was approved unanimously after first and second readings.

Present at the special meeting of the Gallatin Board of Aldermen held Monday, Sept. 29, at city hall were: Mayor John Thomas, aldermen Norma Griffin, Bob Snidow, Becky Wycoff and City Administrator Toby Dougherty. Alderman Gene Caldwell was absent.
