C.R. and Anita (Newby) West of Bethany will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5, at the First Baptist Church in Pattonsburg. They were married on Oct. 11, 1953, at the First Baptist Church in old Pattonsburg. He is a retired truck driver. They both are employees of the South Harrison School District. Hosting the event will be their children, Theresa West, Garry and Vicky West of Trenton, Larry and Agnes West of Kansas City; seven grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
