Every year the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution reminds us of the importance of the U.S. Constitution as the foundation of the rule of the laws of our land by proclaiming Constitution Week Sept. 17-23.
The Gallatin Chapter DAR has placed a display in the window of Eileine’s Beauty Shop on the square in Gallatin to remind citizens to keep the inspiration of our heritage alive.
The 226th anniversary of the signing of the constitution provides an opportunity to all citizens to reaffirm the ideals the framers of the Constitution had in 1787 by studying the constitution and reflecting on the privilege of being an American with all the rights and responsibilities which that privilege involves.
