Junior and senior students at Gallatin High School and their parents have been invited to participate in any one of several special programs this month to put them in touch with college, vocational school, and military recruiters. These programs are primarily conducted during evening hours so that parents may attend with their students.

Senior and parents will probably want to attend one of these nearby presentations.

Sunday, Sept. 21, from 1-3 p.m. – Missouri Western State College Fieldhouse, St. Joseph; Monday, Sept. 22, from 6-8 p.m.— South Harrison High School commons, Bethany; Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.— Chillicothe High School; Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, from 8:30-10:30 a.m.— Trenton High School commons; Thursday, Sept. 25, from 6:30-8 p.m. — Cameron High School gym.

Sessions are set-up “fair style” so parents and students may talk with recruiters individually and proceed at their own rate. The atmosphere is very informal, and, yet, is quite productive. Parents with questions or who require further information may call counselor Jerry Batson’s office at the Gallatin High School.
