Scott Virtue, 26, Ridgeway, was arrested Sept. 3 after being charged Aug. 26 with the Class A felony of assault of a law enforcement officer, the Class D felony of resisting arrest, and the Class B felony of attempting to manufacture a controlled substance.
Virtue had been at large since Aug. 26 when law enforcement officers attempted to arrest him and two other subjects at a large clandestine methamphetamine laboratory in rural Daviess County. The three men attempted to escape by motor vehicle. Two subjects, Phillip D. Galloway, 23, Bethany, and Michael D. Howard, 23, Pattonsburg, were arrested on Aug. 26 near Gilman City. Virtue turned himself in on Sept. 3.
Ann Krepfle, 17, and Andre Davis, 18, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, were each charged Sept. 7 with possession of a controlled substance, Class C felony. They are being held at Midwest Security Housing on $35,000 bond each.
A Kansas City, Kan., woman was arrested Sept. 5 for endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanor, on Sept. 5. She is being held at Midwest Security Housing on $500 bond.
A 21-year-old Des Moines man was charged Sept. 7 with no valid license, a misdemeanor. He posted $150 bond.
An 18-year-old Gallatin woman was arrested Sept. 8 on a Clinton County warrant for misdemeanor speeding and no seat belt. She posted $160 bond.
