Supervisor Dana Carder advised the Daviess County Central 9-1-1 Board that tower agreements had been forwarded to Livingston County Public Water Supply District (PWSD) and Premium Standard Farms during their regular meeting held Thursday, Aug. 28, at the courthouse.
The board motioned to have Mrs. Carder contact Midwest Mobile and have them order the equipment for the towers as in the original equipment bid.
The treasurer’s report was presented. Bills of $7,989.45 with a bank balance of $66,618.62 were presented and accepted by the board.
The established tax rate was publicly announced without response. The tax rate was accepted.
During comments by board members, Larry Belshe requested that all fire departments be sent a letter reminding them to switch to their private frequencies while fighting a fire.
The board went into closed session. After returning from closed session, the board voted to have Chris Wascher placed on a two week paid leave of absence beginning immediately.
The next meeting of the Daviess County Central 9-1-1 Board will be held on Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.
