Any senior whose parent is a Farm Credit Services customer may be
eligible for a $1000 scholarship. Come and see Mr. Batson or Ms.
Chipman if interested.
Any senior interested in speaking with a representative from Southwest
Missouri State University in Springfield on Sept. 25th, needs to let
Miss Chipman or Mr. Batson know by Friday, Sept. 12th.
Juniors need to bring magazine orders and money to school. Team
captains will be in the commons everyday at 7:45 to collect. All orders need to be in by Tuesday, Sept. 9th.
There will be a band officer meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 10th during
seminar. All officers and senior band members need to attend.
There will be a Jr. FFA officer meeting today.
All FCCLA members interested in helping at the Chautaugua Baby Show
should sign up outside the FACS room.
Any group/organization who would like a Basketball concession stand may sign up in the office. There are three dates left.
Seniors if you are planning to attend NCMC at Trenton next year, you
may take the ASSET test rather than the ACT. The ASSET test is given at no cost to you but we must register previous to the test. See Ms.
Chipman or Mr. Batson.
There will be a 7th grade class meeting in the library on Sept. 11
during 1st seminar.
JH cheerleading practice for this week is as follows: Tues-Thurs
3:15-4:45 in the HS commons. Do not be late.
Any senior who plans to participate in college athletics at an NCAA
level school needs to see Ms. Chipman or Mr. Batson for a
student-athletic guide and application.
FBLA meeting for current members and interested new members on Tuesday
the 9th in Mrs. Holcomb’s room during 2nd seminar. Freshmen involved
need to eat 1st lunch shift.
Lunch Menu: Chicken Patty on Bun, Mixed Veggies, Peaches, Blackberry
Cobbler, Bread, Milk, and Salad Bar.
