James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that the bridge construction project in Union Township was complete and will be open for traffic by the end of the week. He also reported employee evaluations.
The clerk reported that the State Auditor’s Office had called stating that an exit conference will not be necessary in the Treasurer/Ex-Officio Collector closeout. There were no findings to report.
The commission received an executed copy of the program agreement for bridge construction project BRO(25), bridge 2030003 over Marrowbone Creek.
Paul Smith, maintenance operator for Colfax Township, met with the commission reporting maintenance problems in that township.
Bills were audited and paid.
Toby Dougherty, City of Gallatin Administrator, met with the commission for introductory purposes and discussed common interests.
The commission compared the road and bridge budget to actual reports for the fiscal year.
Danny Heldenbrand moved to allow 25-cents per hour performance increases to the bridge crew.
David Holcomb seconded. Carried.
The Local Emergency Operation Plan was sent to the State Emergency Management Agency’s contracted group, to update our plan.
A proposal was received from North Missouri Internet Services to place equipment on the dome.
The commission will make no decision until the prosecuting attorney can review the proposal and contract.
In the afternoon, the commission inspected bridge construction projects in Union and Jackson Townships.
