Three people received injuries in a two-vehicle accident four miles east of Gallatin
Three people received injuries in a two-vehicle accident four miles east of Gallatin in Daviess County at about 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred as James Roberts, 18, Jamesport, was eastbound on the wrong side of Otter Avenue on a curve. The vehicle struck a car driven by Paula Finnley, 28, Trenton, nearly head on.
Mr. Roberts received serious injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment. Bryce Wells, 16, a passenger in the Roberts vehicle, received minor injuries and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Paula Finnley received moderate injuries and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Paula Finnley was wearing her seatbelt; James Roberts and Bryce Wells were not. The accident was investigated by Tpr. Huber, assisted by Daviess County deputies. Summons is pending.
