This year Daviess County Farm Bureau will celebrate its 50th anniversary at the annual meeting to be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 31. This golden anniversary event will be held at the Pattonsburg Senior Center for those who RSVP by July 25 by calling 663-2700.

A business meeting at 6 p.m. will be followed by the meal at 6:30 p.m. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening.
Diane Olson, promotion and education director of Missouri Farm Bureau, will offer a presentation. Also speaking will be Dave Ahlvers, District 1 engineer for the Missouri Department of Transportation.
Immediately following the meeting, entertainment at Pattonsburg city park will be provided by “Charlie’s Angels” under the shelter building. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs and join together for this entertainment. If inclement weather occurs, the music will be performed at the Senior Center.
