Funeral services for Eli N. Troyer were held Tuesday at the Johnny Kurtz residence in Jamesport. Burial was at Meadowview Cemetery. Arrangements were by McWilliams Funeral Home, Jamesport.
Eli N. Troyer, 81, died Friday, July 11, 2003, at his home near Jamesport.
Mr. Troyer was born Oct. 27, 1921 at Plain City, Ohio.
On Dec. 21, 1950, he married Malinda J. Hochstetler.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Malinda in 1998; one daughter, Betty Schlabach on Feb. 27, 1996; and two grandchildren, Henry Eli Troyer and Caralee Jean Troyer.
Survivors include three daughters, Miriam Schlabach of Whitehall, Mont., Ruth Ann Plank of Nappanee, Ind., and Christina Graber of Jamesport; six sons, Elden of Crofton, Ken., Paul of Bourbon, Ind., John and Joseph, both of Nappanee, Ind., Raymond and Allen, both of Jamesport; four brothers, Jonas, Abe and Alvin of Plain City, Ohio, and Andy of Bloomfield, Iowa; three sisters, Ada and Esther of Windsor, and Mary of Baltic, Ohio; 50 grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.
