Richard Drummond

Funeral services for Richard L. Drummond, a native of Gallatin, were held June 21 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. Burial was in Valley Memorial Gardens.

Richard L. Drummond, 60, Blue Springs, died Monday, June 16, 2003, at his home.

Mr. Drummond was born Sept. 12, 1942, in Gallatin, the son of Donald and Ethel (Harris) Drummond. He graduated from Smithville High School.

He was a veteran of the Army.

Mr. Drummond was self-employed. He owned and operated R.L. Drummond Construction for 33 years.

Mr. Drummond was preceded in death by his father, Donald Drummond, in 1986; and one son, Ricky Lee Drummond in 2000.

Survivors include his wife, Susan of the home; one daughter, Kim Pittman of the home; his mother, Ethel Drummond of Blue Springs; two brothers, Jim Drummond and David Drummond, both of Lone Jack; and two grandchildren, of the home.
