Friday, July 4, is Jewell Carpenter’s 96th birthday. Her family invites all her friends to participate in a card shower to help her celebrate. Jewell moved to Colorado in April to be close to her son and daughter. She is currently staying at The Legacy, 100 Chico Camino, Monte Vista, Colo., 81144. She misses her acquaintances in the area and would really enjoy hearing from everyone.
