Callie Rose Carter of Nixa and L.G. Linville of Ozark have announced their engagement. They plan to marry on Oct. 11, 2003, at Riverdale Baptist Church in Nixa. Their reception will follow at the bride’s family reunion site south of Nixa on the Finley River.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Collin and Hattie Carter of Nixa. Callie is a 1997 graduate of Nixa High School and a 2001 graduate of Drury University with a major in business administration. She is now pursuing a master’s in education degree at SMSU and plans to teach high school business classes in the fall of 2004.
The groom-to-be is the son of Lloyd and Beverly Webb of Gallatin and Gene Linville of Gallatin. L.G. went to school at Gallatin until relocating to southwest Missouri in 1991. He now owns a residential framing business in Ozark. [Submitted Photo]
