Funeral services for James D. Mitchell were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Day Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery with full military honors.
James D. Mitchell, Marshfield, 75, died Saturday, May 31, 2003, at St. John’s Regional Health Center.
Mr. Marshfield, a carpenter, was a WWII veteran.
Survivors include three daughters, Martha Wells of Marshfield, Laurie Barello of Texas, and Michelle Sanders of Moore, Okla.; one sister, Evelyn Dawson of Denver, Colo; two brothers, Bob Brown of Mobile, Ala., and Jack Wolfe of Gilmore; 11 grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
