Graveside services for Lucille Swofford were held Saturday at Centenary Cemetery in Gallatin. Arrangements were by McWilliams Family Funeral Home, Gallatin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Foundation.
Lucille (Youtsey) Swofford, 87, Gallatin, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003.
Mrs. Youtsey was born Aug. 5, 1915 in Jameson. She graduated from Jameson High School in 1933.
Mrs. Youtsey married Issac Swofford in Gallatin. Mrs. Swofford and husband, Issac, owned and operated Swofford”s Cleaners in Gallatin for many years. He died in 1975.
Mrs. Swofford was a member of the Gallatin Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, F.A. and Muarice Youtsey; and two sisters, Esther Burnell and Nina Dredge.
Survivors include one son, Sam, Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren.
